About MCTools

MCTools is a small, independent project that turns Minecraft game mechanics into fast, interactive tools — so you can get an answer in one click instead of scrolling a wall of wiki text. Everything is free, runs in your browser, and needs no signup or login.

Where the data comes from

Our trade, enchantment and color data reflects Java Edition 1.21. Values are compiled from the public Minecraft Wiki and cross-checked against in-game behavior. Game mechanics (what a villager trades, which enchantments conflict, the chat color hex values) are factual data, not copyrighted content — we don't use any Mojang artwork or assets.

Some numbers — like the emerald cost of a villager trade — vary in-game with villager reputation and randomness, so we show them as ranges.

Accuracy & corrections

We take accuracy seriously: a wrong value wastes your time in-game. Each tool is tagged with the game version it reflects, and we update on major releases. If you spot something wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll fix it quickly.
