Minecraft Circle Generator
Generate a pixel-perfect circle of any size for builds, towers and domes. Pick the diameter, choose outline or filled, and copy the block-by-block grid — with the exact block count.
Build it block-by-block from this grid (each square = 1 block). Larger even diameters produce flatter top/bottom rows — that's normal for blocky circles.
How to build a circle in Minecraft
Minecraft blocks are square, so a circle is built as a stepped approximation. Set the diameter you want above and lay one block per filled square in the grid. Start from the four "poles" (top, bottom, left, right) and work around the curve so the shape stays symmetrical.
- Outline — a one-block-thick ring for towers, fountains and circular walls.
- Filled — a solid disc for floors, platforms and dome layers.
Domes & spheres
To build a dome or sphere, stack filled circles and reduce the diameter on each higher layer following the same curve. The block count shown for each diameter makes it easy to gather materials for every layer in advance.
FAQ
How do you make a circle in Minecraft?
Pick the diameter above and copy the grid block-by-block — each square is one block. Because blocks are square, a 'circle' is an approximation; odd diameters tend to look the most symmetrical.
What's the best diameter for a round-looking circle?
Odd diameters (7, 9, 11, 15…) usually look more circular because they have a single centre block. Larger circles always look smoother than small ones.
How many blocks do I need?
The tool shows the exact block count for your circle as you change the diameter and switch between outline and filled, so you can gather materials before you build.
Can I use this for spheres or domes?
Yes — build the filled circle at each layer and shrink the diameter as you go up to form a dome or sphere. Stack outline circles for rings and towers.
